SWEDISH:
Gud älskar oss människor
Och Han inte bara säger att Han gör det
Utan Han har bevisat det
Jag påstår det även om du inte håller med mig om det
Så är det dock på det sättet
Och det här folket om vilket de här orden är skrivna
De hade upplevat Gud på mångahanda sätt
Och det beror av att Guds kärlek har famnat oss intill idag
Så gav Han dem de tio budorden
Dessa underbara bud
Och vi märker av sammanhanget
Att Israels folk hade inte rätt förstått vad de ägde
I sin rika Gudsgemenskap
För då hade de aldrig bytt bort det
Att få äga Jesus
Få äga den här gamla boken
Läsa ur den
Hämta råd ur den
Vilken rikedom och tillgång
Vilken Gud!
Vilken ära!
Och Gud drog ett streck över alltsammans
Han ger klenoderna tillbaka
Sådan är Han vår Fader i himmelen
Och för Jesu skull så har vi möjligheter
Både till förlåtelse, upprättelse och Gudsgemenskap
Prisat vare Herrens underbara och härliga namn!
ENGLISH:
God loves us human beings
And He doesn't just say that He does
But He has also proven it
I make this claim even though you might not agree with me
This is still the case
And the people of whom these words are written
They had been experiencing God in many ways
And that is thanks to the fact that God's love has embraced us until today
And He gave them the ten commandments
These wonderful statutes
And we can se from the context
That the people of Israel had not quite understood what they owned
In the richness of their fellowship with God
Because then they would never have exchanged them
To know Jesus
To own this old book
Read it
Take advice from it
What a treasure and resource
What a God!
What a glory!
And God erased it all
He gives the treasures back
That's the way He is our Father in heaven
And for the sake of Jesus we have the opportunity for
Forgiveness, restoration and communion with God
Praise be unto the wonderful name of the Lord!
